Refund policy

Effective August 1st, 2025

Thank you for choosing AWD Engineering. Each AWD Conversion Kit is designed for a specific chassis and is hand-built-to-order. Because our products are precision-fabricated, custom-made, and intended for specialized use, all sales are final and subject to the following terms:

1. All Sales Are Final

All AWD Engineering products are built to order and sold as-is. Once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled, refunded, or returned, regardless of order status or production stage.

We do not accept returns or cancellations for, but not limited to:

Buyer’s remorse or change of mind.
Incorrect fitment, compatibility issues, or installation errors.
Damage caused during installation or modification.
Shipping or supply delays beyond our control.
Failure to read or understand product details, specifications, or intended use.
Dissatisfaction with performance, appearance, or noise level.

By completing a purchase, you agree to these terms in full.

2. Limited Workmanship Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our fabrication and materials.

If a product arrives with a verified workmanship defect (e.g. missing, or mis-manufactured components), you must notify AWD Engineering within 14 calendar days of delivery.

To file a claim, you must provide:

Clear photos or video evidence of the defect.
Your order number and proof of purchase.

If the claim is validated, AWD Engineering may, at its sole discretion, repair, replace, or issue store credit for the defective item.

This guarantee does not cover, but is not limited to:

Damage caused by improper installation, modification, or misuse.
Wear and tear from normal use, corrosion, or cosmetic blemishes.
Damage resulting from impact, collision, racing, or testing.
Any part that has been installed, altered, or tampered with in any way.

Once a product has been installed or modified, the sale is considered final and accepted as-is.

3. Product Use & Legal Disclaimer

All AWD Engineering products are designed for closed-course, motorsport, display, or testing purposes.

They are not intended for use on public streets, highways, or any other public roadway and may not comply with safety, or registration regulations in certain jurisdictions.

It is the sole responsibility of the installer and/or end-user to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws.

Products must never be installed on a vehicle driven on a public street or highway unless permitted by a specific regulatory exemption.

Installer or user located outside the United States must comply with all local laws and regulations regarding modification and vehicle safety.

AWD Engineering does not recommend or support any street or highway usage of these products and is not liable for any issues, damages, or injuries resulting from such use.

4. Shipping, Damage, and Delivery Claims

All shipments are insured through the carrier. Customers must inspect all deliveries immediately upon receipt.

Any visible damage, shortage, or missing items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with detailed photos of the packaging and product.
All packaging materials must be retained until the claim is resolved.
Claims filed beyond 48 hours will not be accepted.
AWD Engineering is not responsible for delays, misdelivery, theft, or loss once the shipment is marked delivered by the carrier.
We will assist with insurance claims but cannot guarantee carrier reimbursement.

5. Payment, Chargebacks & Disputes

By purchasing from AWD Engineering, you agree to the following terms:

You will not initiate chargebacks, payment reversals, or disputes without first contacting AWD Engineering in writing to attempt resolution.
All order confirmations, payment records, communications, and proof of delivery serve as binding evidence of fulfillment.
Any unauthorized, false, or fraudulent chargeback, payment reversal, or dispute will be fully contested with supporting documentation and may result in civil and/or criminal action.

In the event of a fraudulent chargeback, dispute, or claim, you agree that:

You are liable for all legal fees, court costs, collection costs, and attorney’s fees incurred by AWD Engineering in recovering the disputed amount.
You are also responsible for any damages, penalties, or losses (including but not limited to lost income, processing fees, and business interruption) resulting from the fraudulent claim.
AWD Engineering reserves the right to report suspected fraudulent activity to payment processors, banks, and relevant authorities for investigation.

Fraudulent claims such as “item not received,” “item not as described,” “unauthorized payment,” or any similar misrepresentation will be pursued to the fullest extent permitted by law.

6. Authorized Returns (If Exceptionally Approved)

In the rare event that a return is pre-authorized by AWD Engineering:

The product must be unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging.
It must be shipped back within 7 days of written approval.
Customer is responsible for all return shipping, insurance, and handling costs.
A 60% restocking fee may apply.
All payment processing fees, financing fees (Shop Pay/Affirm), currency conversion fees, and any other non-refundable third-party charges are deducted from all refunds. These fees are non-recoverable and will not be reimbursed under any circumstances — including order cancellation, customer error, or returns approved as exceptions.
AWD Engineering reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet these conditions.

By placing an order, the customer agrees to these terms.

No returns will be accepted without prior written authorization.

7. Warranty Disclaimer

All AWD Engineering products and the materials listed on this site are provided “as-is” without any express or implied warranty of any kind.

To the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, AWD Engineering disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

AWD Engineering does not warrant or represent that:

The products or site functions will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Any defects will be corrected.
The site, server, or materials are free of viruses or harmful components.
The use of materials or information provided is accurate, reliable, or current.

Some states do not allow limitations or exclusions on implied warranties, so the above limitations may not apply in those jurisdictions.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AWD Engineering, LLC, its owners, officers, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers (collectively, the “Service Providers”) from and against all losses, expenses, damages, claims, demands, and costs — including but not limited to reasonable attorneys’ fees — arising out of or relating to:

Any breach or violation of these terms and conditions.
Any activity related to your account, order, or product installation.
Negligent, improper, or unlawful use of AWD Engineering products.

This indemnification obligation shall survive the completion of any transaction and the termination of any agreement between you and AWD Engineering.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order with AWD Engineering, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms stated in this Return & Refund Policy.

A required checkbox confirming acceptance will appear at checkout and must be selected before completing any purchase.
